Job Summary:
Performs responsible technical work in the management of mosquito populations and the invasive growth of exotic aquatic plants in Lake County. Responsible for identifying aquatic plant and mosquito species, applying appropriate pesticide and herbicide treatments, providing public information and assistance, maintaining equipment, and performing related tasks as assigned.
May be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires high school diploma or GED, and one year of college or vocational school education in Biology, Environmental Technology, Pesticide Application or a closely related field with two (2) years of related experience.
