Job Summary:

The essential function of the position within the organization is to provide administrative assistance to the assigned department or division. The position may be responsible for coordination of all Public Hearing activities, preparation of legal notices, letters of notification, agendas, orders, liens and release of liens, serving as clerk and recording secretary and/or records custodian, taking and transcribing minutes, maintenance scanning and indexing of database documents, and collecting fees. The position requires exceptional customer service skills. The position works under general supervision.

This position shall be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration or a closely related filed with two (2) years of related experience.

Requires a valid Florida driver’s license.

Requires a notary license or the ability to obtain within two months of employment.
