Job Summary:

Manages the coordination, accounting, and administration of all grant activities in support of the various departments within the county. The position is responsible for ensuring that major grant programs for the county, such as FDOT, SHIP, CDBG, and FEMA programs are implemented within regulatory and fiscal guidelines, supervising staff, establishing long-range and strategic plans, developing policy and procedures, documentation and reporting activities and performing related administrative functions. This position will serve as the subject matter expert for projects involving grant financial management and related analysis.

This position may be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Any equivalent Requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, public administration, or a closely related field.

Requires five years of related experience, with three or more years progressively responsible experience managing grants in a governmental environment.

Requires a valid Florida driver’s license.
