Job Summary:

Performs technical duties associated with illicit discharge screening, education, lot grading, floodplain encroachments and compliance activities. The position is responsible for interpreting NPDES regulations, researching and determining flood encroachments of parcels of unincorporated property, maintaining accurate and up-to-date inspection records and databases, and performing related technical tasks as assigned.

This position shall be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires a High school diploma or GED with three (3) years of related experience.

Certification in FDEP Erosion & Sedimentation Course is required or be able to obtain certification within six (6) months of employment.

Requires a valid Florida Drivers License.
