Job Summary:
Installs, maintains and repairs traffic signals and electronic traffic control devices. Responsible for performing field work, maintaining work records as required, providing professional and courteous customer service at all times, and assisting with other technical tasks as assigned.
This position may be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires High School Diploma or GED with one year of vocational/technical education in electronics, traffic engineering technology or a closely related field with two (2) years of related experience. Requires medium to heavy work involving exerting up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis and exceptional dexterity in operating machinery, tools, or office equipment.
Requires a valid Florida driver's license, Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic Certification and Forklift Certification or the ability to obtain these within six months of date of hire;
