Q1. While the document outlines acceptable types of fence posts, we would like to confirm whether the use of metal t-posts is a requirement or a preference. Additionally, aside from the mention of high tensile wire bracing, we did not find detailed specifications for the remainting fence materials. To confirm, could this be quoted as a horse fence or chain?
R1. The contractor may use Metal T posts or 4-5" CCA treated wood fence posts, however all corner and gate posts shall be wood per the specifications listed in the scope. The fencing material shall be fieldd fence, not chain link.
Q2. If available, could you provide any photos of the existing fence, or would you recommend a site visit for visual reference? Any further detail regarding the existing conditions or preferred materials would greatly assist us in preparing a thorough and accurate quote.
R2. A site visit is recommended before placing a bid.
