Job Summary

ANIMAL CARE ASSISTANT

Performs technical and clerical duties in support of the daily operations of the Lake County Animal Shelter. Responsible for maintaining daily shelter operations, caring for impounded animals, providing assistance to clerical staff, and performing related tasks as assigned. This position may be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Requires high school diploma, GED, or vocational training with one year related experience. Requires a valid Florida driver’s license.
