ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS SPECIALIST

The essential function of the position within the organization is to manage the access control system and other technology within the courthouse. This includes CCTV, audio/video devices, and other related equipment. The position is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems, resolving and documenting requests for assistance with associated problems, providing professional and courteous customer service at all times, and performing related technical and clerical duties as required. The position works under general supervision independently developing work methods and sequences and reports to the Trial Court Technology Officer of the Fifth Judicial Circuit. This position may be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires Bachelors Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in electronics, computer technology, information systems management or a closely related field with two years of related experience. Requires a valid Florida driver's license.
