Job Summary

AUDIO VISUAL TECHNICIAN

The essential functions of the position are twofold. The first, to staff and operate the Board Chambers audio-visual (AV) control room for all meetings requiring AV services. Secondly, to provide AV services for remote meetings requiring audio visual equipment such as, public address systems, projectors and projector screens, computer(s) and recording systems. The position works independently, reporting major activities through periodic meetings. May be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires high school diploma or GED, and one year of college or vocational school education in Business Administration, Public Administration or closely related field. May be required to obtain Property Management Certification. Requires three years of related experience. May require a valid Florida driver’s license.
