ASSISTANT LIVE RELEASE COORDINATOR

Performs technical and clerical duties in support of the daily operations of the Animal Shelter Division. Assists the Live Release Coordinator, coordinates with public seeking to adopt pets, coordinates with animal rescue groups, coordinates with outside agencies to place animals for adoption. Organizes adoption events and coordinates with event sponsors. May assist with Trap, Neuter, Release Programs and volunteers. May be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires high school diploma, GED, or vocational training with two (2) years of related experience. Requires a valid Florida driver’s license.
