AGENDA COORDINATOR

This is highly responsible administrative work preparing and monitoring the Board of County Commission agenda and providing administrative support for the County Manager’s Office. An employee in this position coordinates and prepares the Board of County Commission meeting agendas/agenda kits for the Board of County Commissioners, the County Manager and certain departments. Work also involves the preparation of various data and reports necessary for analysis of the effectiveness and efficiency of the agenda process. Supervision received is from an administrative supervisor. May be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires associate’s degree in public administration, office management, secretarial science, accounting, business or a closely related field with five (5) years of responsible, high level executive assistant or administrative support duties for a government agency. May require a valid Florida driver’s license.
