Job Summary

ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

Performs routine accounting functions for assigned department. The position is responsible for performing accounting tasks in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, interacting with vendors and County employees/management regarding accounting matters, providing customer service, and performing clerical tasks, including preparing reports. May be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. High School Diploma or GED with two (2) years of related experience. May require a valid Florida driver's license.
