Job Summary

ASSOCIATE PLANNER

Interprets and assists in administering the County’s zoning ordinance, Land Development Regulations and associated codes and regulations. Responsible for processing various permit applications, reading and interpreting legal descriptions and zoning maps, preparing records and reports. May be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires a high school diploma or GED and four (4) years of customer service related experience. May require a valid Florida Driver's License.
