Job Summary:
The essential function of the position within the organization is to perform professional and administrative work in the provision of effective library services to the citizens of Lake County. The position is responsible for participating in adult or youth services work and programming, to include reference services, literacy services, collection development and maintenance and/or technical services, according to area(s) of assignment. The position works under general supervision according to some procedures; decides how and when to complete tasks.
This position shall be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Library Science, Liberal Arts, Education or a closely related field with two (2) years of library experience.
