Job Summary:
The essential function of the position within the organization is to provide administrative/financial support to the Department by performing moderately complex technical accounting functions and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The position is responsible for performing and coordinating daily activities in the areas of purchasing, finance and budget while ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of fiscal activities for the assigned work unit. The position works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.
This position shall be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires high school diploma or GED with one year of college or vocational school in Bookkeeping or Accounting or other related field with three (3) years of related experience.
