Job Summary:
The essential function of the position within the organization is to install road signs and paint directional markings on County roadways. The position is responsible for operating equipment, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and performing related work as assigned. The position works under direct supervision according to set procedures.
This position shall be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires high school diploma or GED with two (2) years of related experience.
Requires valid Florida driver’s license, Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic Certification and Forklift Certification or the ability to obtain these within six months of date of hire; IMSA Signs and Markings – Level I certification or the ability to obtain certification within eighteen (18) months of date of hire.
