Job Summary:
Assists with activities and operations of the household hazardous waste collection center under general supervision. Responsible for conducting mobile household hazardous waste collection events, conducting complaint investigations, classifiying and preparing hazardous waste collections for disposal, providing information and assistance to the public, and performing other tasks as required.
May be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires high school diploma or GED, and one year of college or vocational school education in environmental technology, laboratory technology, biology or a closely related field with one (1) year of related experience.
May require technical certification(s) as deemed necessary by supervisor.
Requires a valid Florida driver’s license.
