I am guessing that you were not able to locate the plans in your office this past week, so I am attaching PDF files of the plans to this e-mail.  They are formatted to be printed on 11x17 paper.  I ask that you review these ASAP and provide any final comments that you or your colleagues may have.
 
Please note that these files now reflect the changes required by FDOT since our October 17th submittal to you.  The changes were confined to structural issues, and one of the poles had to be lengthened by 2 feet.
 
PDF files of FDOT's new Specification for Fiber Optic items and the revised Structural Calculations will be sent to you in a separate in a few moments.

I responded to the 90% submittal was responded to on 07/17/07 and that was the last set of plans I saw. I don’t know if Denis or Steve has it in their possession as they have not responded to the e-mail. I will check around the office to see if design or Fred has them.

Hmmm . . . . our records show the following:

 

    The US 27/441 / CR 466 plans were submitted on 6/29/06 (60% Plans, through Jim White), 7/9/07 (90% Plans), and 10/17/07 (100% Plans).  The transmittal letter that I sent on 10/17 indicates CR 466 in the subject line, and our FedEx tracking receipt shows that it was received by a "J.Jordan" at your receptionist desk at 12:17 p.m. on 10/18/07.

 

    The US 27/441 / Fennell plans were submitted on 5/1/07 (1st round) and again on 12/14/07 (Final).

 

    The US 27/441 / Crossroads/2nd plans were submitted on 8/7/07 (1st round) and again on 12/13/07 (Final).

 

 

If it would help, I can make 2 more sets of the CR 466 plans and send them to you again.  But before I do that, could you please re-check your file(s) and see if these plans were mistakenly placed in a folder for one of the other nearby intersections?  Please let me know . . . . thanks.

I just went through my e-mails and all plans I have in my possession and on 10/17/07 the 100% plans I received was for US 27 & Crossroads and Fennel.

Sharon,

On October 17th, I sent you 2 sets of hardcopies of the 100% Signal Plans for the referenced intersection.  As of this writing, we have not received any comments (or verification that the plans are acceptable as-is) from you or other County staff. 

FDOT staff was also sent copies of the plans the same day and had several subsequent structural comments regarding the strain poles, all of which have now been resolved to their satisfaction. 

We are now in a position to request that the FDOT Permit be issued for the replacement signal, yet we want to make sure there will be no other changes to the plans due to any County comments.  What is the status of your review?
