FDOT would like to finalize the design to rebuild the overhead school sign for Lone Oak Middle school on SR 44 in Leesburg. The existing electric service is overhead. Have you been able to discuss this issue with Leesburg Electric to see if the electric service should be designed underground and if they would complete the work as this school flasher is within the city and on the interlocal agreement list with us to do routine maintenance. This rebuild is necessary but outside our normal routine maintenance and will be charged back to Leesburg.
